Favorite anime and why?

This is to give more information on why you like said anime instead of just listing top 5

I like Fate/Zero (and Fate/Stay Night) because of the fights, action, plot, legends, and women :3

My favourite anime is Katekyo Hitman Reborn because it can be very humourous yet serious at the same time. The character development is top-notch, the animation is awesome and the storyline is just intense.

Clannad, because the comedy was great and I loved the innocent romance. Also because i'm a fan of tear jerkers.

I loved Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica, just because they intentionally killed off Mami and then baited all the viewers into thinking she would be revived, and then left her dead. And then they proceeded to kill off numerous other main characters. Also the fact that it's a dark magical girl show makes it cool. Plus I'm kind of a giant SHAFT fan.

Mami dying again and again really depressed me. She's by far my favorite character... Anyways, hell yeah. Madoka Magica is my favorite anime too~

I'm gonna be straight with you Kuu, I can't stand characters like Mami or Mugi from K-on!. I hate them with a passion. Sorry. I also didn't really like Madoka as a show all that much, because it kind of took the magical girl genre and criticized it, deconstructed it, and offered no useful critique on how to make it better. It didn't even try to make it better. Of course it wasn't an objectively bad show, deconstruction shows like that just aren't my thing.

ANYWAY.

I have two for you:

Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha: Taking the magical girl genre and adding to it, iterating on it, making it better then all previous magical girl anime. Symphogear is actually an anime that took a lot of what Nanoha did and ran with it and was a pretty awesome show for it.

Saki: Taking something like Mahjong and turning it into an interesting anime, manga or story in general is not something I imagine was easy to do. As a result I feel like Saki is one of the most unique anime I've ever seen. By far one of my favorite things, with a feel I haven't gotten from any other anime before. Shows like Yumerio come close in their own way of course, and Yumerio is quite good, but Saki will always be my number one for this sort of thing.

Future Diary/Mirai Nikki

I love this show so much. I liked almost everything about it. I could keep going, But If anyone wants to get into a mature discussion about it then quote me, Even if you hated the show please feel free to tell me your opinion.

Yu Yu Hakusho, I know it sounds mainstream but I identified with Yusuke growing up as a anti social and misunderstood person who often lashed out at people who got too close to me for what ever reason..I don't know if I've changed but it was kinda nice to see that there were other people like me in a often cold and indifferent world..even if they were just characters in an anime.

I'd have to go with Zero No Tsukaima, decent original story, the action scenes are nice, good character development and interactions. But most of all it ended on a definite note as to make sure you know how it ended.

Toradora! There's no question about it, definitely my favorite. The story, the characters, the humor,
and of course the ending. Perfect ending.

My favorite anime is Kuuchuu Buranko because it's original and a lot of fun to watch :3

I'm a big fan of Cowboy Bebop but theirs all sorts of others like Orihemo, Black Lagoon, Death Note, and lots of more...

I'm torn between ToraDora! , Afro Samurai , Elfen Lied & Cowboy Bebop. Guess it just depends what mood I'm in.
