If you could play any character in an abridged series

who would it be and why?

for me it would be

Goemon: because he has a very quiet and deep voice with a very serious tone which plays to my natural voice.

I would love to try playing as Light from Death Note.

I would love to be Araragi from Bakemonogatari, just because he has a mix of being pretty reserved and normal to extremely filled with emotion.

I would love to play The Joker in some kind of Batman Abridged or even fandub. I think I could do a really good Joker.

Well, I think it might be cool to be Hei from "Darker Than Black." For one thing, I love the fact that he's, like, the only contractor with a conscience. He also has a "steel" digestive system (so to speak), apparently. He's pretty fucking laid back, too.

Of course, there's also the deal where you get awesome powers!

I'd love to play Jet from Cowboy Bebop, could definitely pull off the deep voice. The guy's positively badass, spends most of his time on Mars, has a cyborg arm and a hot ex-wife. What more could I ask for?
