Possible TWEWY 2 Announcement?

There's a coming soon page on Square Enix Japan's Site, I for one hope it's TWEWY 2, and not some coffee mugs or something... Less than a day left : D

From what all the evidence people have found out so far, it's just going to be an IOS port of the game. However, I don't want to believe that either because I don't think the game would work well on a single-screen game system. I still hope for a Subarashiki kono Sekai 2 (The World Ends With You 2) as well.

i heard about the iOS version too but i thought that was released at a different time

"An iOS version of the game was announced in August 2012, for release in October 2012. The iOS version will feature a remixed soundtrack from the original DS release"

apparently it was already announced, so this has to be something different, unless it's the launch

Well apparently the TWEWY Cast showing up in KH3D was supposed to mean something for that series, and I doubt it'd be just a random port. Either way, September 1 we'll know, just like Final Fantasy XIII-3.

The best way this could go, the thing I think would ideal for this series, is a PSN, or just digital in general release, so it could keep it's art style and be played in HD and not crappy small screens.

countdowns over... apparently they just wanted to go more in depth about the ios port, but why link us to the original game in just japanese but they took the time to translate the iOS release, though as it's going right now i dont see them not making a sequel

Not really, I think the best part about TWEWY was it's Dual Screen combat. It's gotta stay on the DS.
I wouldn't mind if they went CG/3D for some cutscenes, but the game play should stay 2D. Don't let me down, Square.

yeah what the hell's your problem, though with the reception it's getting square enix would be foolish to not create a second one, and the fact that they took the time to release the iOS port might mean they're testing the waters

So, apparently this was at the end of the iOS port of TWEWY. Sequel? ^-^

Possibly. Or they retconed Shiki's real appearance

yeah i saw that on tumblr but i didnt get a backstory, again im hoping it's twewy 2 and not coffee mugs again.
