Very Happy What a Face cheers Anyone else heard of this?? I just saw a FB ad for it a few hours ago, and it looks pretty legit! http://finalfantasyviipc.com/us
Relive the magic as Cloud and all your favorite characters!

Yes, I know, there are already emulators and whatnot, but this does seem a lot simpler and faster. geek Plus, it supposedly has some awesome new features, too! And who wouldn't love to compete or coop with their friends online in FF7? WITHOUT HAVING TO COME OVER Wink

FF7 was always overrated to me. Everyone tells me how much they love it and how much better it is than every other final fantasy game ever made, That has practically ruined my opinion of the game. I would much rather play FF9, FF6, FF5, or hell even FF13

While I agree that the amount of fandom it gets is probably a bit much, it's still a great classic. Smile Plus, I never cared much for 13 (didn't even get through half). I'm not sure WHY it deserves a sequel but whatever. 12 also wasn't my cup of tea. 12's plot pacing was all fucked up, at least when it started! It felt like what should've been THE MIDDLE of the story WAS THE BEGINNING! I'm thinking, "The hell?? They're not even gonna do a proper exposition first? and keep things slow BEFORE the conflict and shit?"

Ten and Ten-2 were ok, though.

FF 13 didn't need a sequel, It ended with tons of closure. 13-2 was a very good game though, However that needs a sequel since SPOILERS The Villain wins SPOILERS OVER

I will say though that I did enjoy FF7 Crisis Core on the PSP way more than I did FF7, For some reason FF7 never clicked for me.

It's going to be alright man, you had to know it was coming. don't think of it as an ending think of it as the beginning of a much bigger story.

I also had a good deal of fun playing Dirge of Cerberus. Smile I don't have a PSP or systems other than PS2 and PS3, so I can't really play the other backstories.

I liked seeing the back ground and the modern adaptations of the FF7 characters, but I wish it wasn't so linear. Its like" Oh that's a really cool back ground, too bad I can't go over there." I wish they would have made FF7 2 and not 10 and 13 2

I find myself getting less and less tolerant of full linearity in video games as time goes by. afro For example, I loved Red Dead Redemption but hated Revolver.

7-2 would've been the shit! Very Happy Advent Children was OK, but it just seemed like, "What's the point?" More like mindless filler to placate diehard fans of the series than any legitimate addition to the collection
